What to replace a missing cover book?

I recently brought a textbook online paperback and the cover has been torn away. It is a book medium-sized and none of the pages are still lost. I would like to put something to protect the book from further damage. Any suggestions would be appreciated, as long as they can work nothing is sticky.

Did you buy it with the cover ripped off? If so, please contact the editor and replacing it for you. Or you can make your own. All I can come up with is to have a gift box and cut a square of cardboard to match the dimensions of the back cover MORE about an extra 0.25 inch (wide). Fold the extra quarter inch of cardboard to form a tab as spray adhesive or craft in the bottom of the sheet and attach to the spine of the book. Not perfect, but at least your documents do not start. Use gift wrap for the cover of the book, or use random pictures from magazines to make a collage of the whole thing (this will take time, but you can do while watching a movie on television.)

Judging a book by its cover… Never a good idea…
